Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This policy explains cancellations and refunds for Roomlyn, operated by Chrometrics Limited. It sits alongside your statutory rights, which it does not remove.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from your Account page via the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep your plan and its features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. We don't pro-rate or refund the remainder of a paid period except where the law requires it.
Tokens
Tokens deliver a digital service immediately. Once a token has been used for an edit it is non-refundable. If an edit fails for a technical reason on our side, the token is automatically returned to you. Unused monthly-allowance tokens expire at renewal and are not refundable; purchased top-up tokens don't expire at renewal.
Your 14-day right & the immediate-performance waiver
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital services. Because Roomlyn delivers instantly, at checkout we ask you to expressly consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day cancellation right once the service has been fully performed (i.e. once you begin using tokens). If you have not yet used any tokens from a purchase, you may still request a refund within 14 days — contact support@roomlyn.com.
How to request a refund
Email support@roomlyn.com from your account email, with the date and amount. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days. Where we refund a purchase, the corresponding tokens are removed from your balance.
Faults & misdescription
Nothing here affects your legal rights if the service is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we'll put it right.
Chargebacks
If you don't recognise a charge, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Where a payment is refunded or charged back, we may remove the associated tokens and, in cases of abuse, suspend the account.
